#Blogoween – Bookish They Got My Back

Another beautiful day of #Blogoween!

Which 5 characters would you want with you during the zombie apocalypse?

1. Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings series by J.R.R. Tolkien.

As one of the most powerful wizards on middle earth, Gandalf’s knowledge and magic would be useful against the undead. In addition to that, he is an adept fighter despite his apparent age and could hold his own even without the magic.

2. Aelin Galathynius from The Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas

Before learning how to wield her powers of the flame, Aelin was trained to be an assassin above all else. Between the magic and her training, she would tear through zombies without breaking a sweat!

3. Kvothe from The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.

Kvothe is an extremely powerful arcanist, able to defend himself against even the nearly indestructible Scrael. He is efficient at learning, gathering information, and above all, surviving. He can also tell one hell of a tale to pass the time!

4. Kylar Stern from The Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks.

As the wielder of the Black Ka’Kari, Kylar has insanely powerful abilities ranging from invisibility to immortality! His skill with these weapons makes him an irreplaceable member of this group.

5. Jesper Fahey from The Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo.

While Jesper has abilities as a Fabrikator that he has not properly learned to utilize, he is a talented sharpshooter, which is an incredibly useful skill when dealing with zombies.

What do all of my choices for those that I would want with me have in common?

Most of them utilize magic and are good with weapons, but all of them are incredibly loyal and could plan their way out of just about anything!

A big thank you to the host of this prompt, Kaleena @Reader Voracious! Another great #Blogoween idea!!

What bookish characters would you want with you during the zombie apocalypse?

Until next time…
